I posted an update on this phone here.
First off, I am using Skype not because I am a phone person. As some of you might know, AT&T had failed to provide me any reception at home. There has not been one call where it ran smoothly. Worst yet, Apple signed an exclusive deal with AT&T and I am stuck with them for another 2 years.
Tired of complaining all day, it was time to try Skype. I bought some Skype credits and had since use Skype as my main phone at home. Skype is incredibly cheap, a $10 credit can usually last me for a couple months. I trusted the sound and microphone quality of my Macbook Pro and had refused to purchase any additional hardware at that time.
After months of usage, I keep hearing the same comments: “Are you on Speakphone?”, “I can’t hear you”, “I hear a lot of echo”. It was a really stressful situation. It’s not like we just invented phone a year ago. What do I need to do to get some decent phone service?

When I first start my old blog at http://www.inconsistency.wordpress.com, I had no intention of making it public. I wasn’t a newbie blogger back then either. I just didn’t want to.
Things started to changed after a couple months. My hands are itching to blog again. I was dying to install all these plugins on my blog. I also wasn’t satisfed with the themes that were provided. Next thing I know, I started to write posts that are not just intended for myself. Then I wrote this one post about scams on Craigslist and it was the tipping point moment. Everyday I have at least 20 visitors to the post. After about a couple months it became the number 1 search result on Google for certain keywords within the post. People from all over the world left comments to thank me or had posted other scam emails they received. It had became almost a discussion board for people who had been scammed before.
Obviously it would be hard to take a risk and move my entire blog from WP.com to a self-host domain. I read all sorts of things about losing Google ranking and some people downright call this a relocation nightmare. After months of research and ignoring the pain, I finally decided to start over again. From today on, I will no longer be updating my old blog and this will be my brand new start.
